Polaris just raised the bar again with the all-new 2027 Polaris RZR Pro R Boost, and if you thought the horsepower war between high-performance side-by-sides was already getting crazy, things just got a whole lot more interesting. The RZR Pro R Boost packs a 2.0L ProStar Fury turbocharged engine producing an industry-leading 275 horsepower and 215 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful RZR Polaris has ever built.

But Polaris didn't simply throw more power into the RZR and call it a day. The Pro R Boost was engineered around that massive power output, with upgraded clutching, a larger belt, improved cooling, a new dual-radiator design, a stronger front drive system, upgraded transmission components and reinforced half shafts. Polaris says the turbo system is designed to maintain strong performance at elevations up to 10,000 feet, while the upgraded cooling system is designed to keep temperatures under control when the conditions get brutal.

The result is a machine aimed squarely at riders who want extreme performance in wide-open terrain. Available in both two- and four-seat configurations, the RZR Pro R Boost starts at $49,999 MSRP, with Ultimate and Ultra models offering increasingly serious suspension and performance technology. The Ultra adds DYNAMIX DVS with active sway bar links, carbon-fiber components, BFGoodrich 32-inch tires and other premium upgrades.
And while 275 horsepower is the headline number, the real question for off-road enthusiasts is what happens when owners start modifying these machines. Wheels, tires, lighting, suspension, protection, audio and recovery equipment can completely transform the way a RZR looks and performs. If you're already dreaming about building a RZR Pro R Boost, now is the perfect time to start planning your setup.
