Saving Offline Maps

Load the OnX Offroad app. At the bottom there is a tab called "Offline Maps" click this. The tab will pop up with an orange bar with "+ New Map" click this. A white square will appear and you will need to adjust the square overtop of the trails you want to save offline. Please note the 3 map detail selections at the bottom the more detailed you want the maps the less area you can select. For example: Low Detail will allow around 100x100 mile square while High Detail only allows for around a 10x10 mile square. With that being said if you want High Detail downloading more than one map may be needed. If so, we recommend overlapping some of the trails between maps so you don't miss any needed trails for your adventure. Once you select your level of detail and the trails within the square press "Next" in the top of the screen. You can then name your map and add any notes to it. Then click "Save" and your mapping will begin downloading.

If downloading multiple maps we suggest naming them by their trail system or area. If downloading more than one map for a single trail system we recommend putting numbers behind them to keep track of which one you have selected such as "Warrior 1", "Warrior 2", Warrior 3", etc.
